just before I left the country we had a big discussion in den gender studies class about women serving in the armed services. so here I am in Israel with a cousin and her husband. their daughters served in the Israeli army. one trained soldiers how to protect themselves against chemical warfare, the other worked in the situation room at the border studying maps and satellite. so much for the argument about the sexes.
